Bridgestone Blizzak WS80

The Bridgestone Blizzak WS80 is a studless ice and snow winter tire designed for compact cars, coupes, sedans, and minivans, offering confident control even in the harshest winter conditions. It features Bridgestone’s next-generation adaptive NanoPro-Tech™ Multicell compound, which combines a hydrophilic coating with microscopic bite particles. This technology keeps the tire flexible in sub-freezing temperatures, wicks water from the road to reduce slipping, and improves grip and braking on glare ice.

The compound is molded into a directional tread design with 20% more block edges than the WS70, complemented by circumferential and lateral grooves to channel water, slush, and snow away from the contact patch. 3-D Zig-Zag Sipes add additional snow-biting edges for superior traction. An optimized tire footprint ensures even force distribution for enhanced stability and control on dry, icy, and snowy surfaces.

The Blizzak WS80 meets severe snow service requirements, carrying the Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake (3PMSF) symbol. A tread depth indicator signals when only 10% of the Multicell compound remains, helping drivers know when it’s time for a replacement.
